Tramar Lacel, better known as his stage
name Flo Rida (American rapper and singer, as well as songwriter) is a Carol
City, Florida-based artist as a composer, songwriter, and musician. The song
that he debuted with, "Low", reached number one in the United States
for 10 weeks and set a new record for digital downloads. The album that Flo
Rida released as her debut studio album 2008's Mail on Sunday reached no. 4 in
the US. The album was followed by R.O.O.T.S., the next year. His next albums,
2010,'s Only One Flo (Part 1) and 2012's Wild Ones, also charted on the US
Billboard 200 chart. Flo Rida is the most successful artist to sell over 80
million records across the globe which makes him one of the most successful
artists of music. His top international hits include "Right Round",
Club Can't Handle Me", Good Feeling", Wild Ones", Whistle",
I Cry" and "Wild Ones". ", and "My Home". The
debut album of Flo Rida, Mail on Sunday, was released in March 2008. The
album's first single was "Low" which featured T-Pain. The track was
featured in the soundtrack of the movie Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low"
reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Elevator" was a hit
with Timbaland as well as "In the Ayer," featuring will.i.am and
will.i.am, were followed by "Roll" with Sean Kingston. Both charted
on the Hot 100 as well. Mail included a host of guests on Sunday including
T-Pain. Timbaland is featured on the track too. The producer produced the
second single, "Elevator". Rick Ross, and Trey Songz appeared on the
track as well. Lil Wayne appeared on the track "American Superstar"
and Sean Kingston appeared on the J. R. Rotem-produced "Roll", which
was co-written by Compton rapper Spitfiya. Birdman, Brisco, as along with Yung
Jock are some of the other guests. "Money Right", featuring Brisco
and Rick Ross, was scheduled to be the fourth single but was later canceled due
to the imminent release of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. He also
recorded his second collaboration with T.Pain, "I Bet" as well as his
collaboration with Trina (titled "Bout It").
