Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Kentwood. As a young girl, Britney attended dance classes and excelled at gymnastics. She was a winner of many competitions and the like. Britney loves to sing and dance, but more important, she was a fan of dancing classes. Britney was only 8 years old when she applied to join The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However, her young age led to her being turned down. Britney was then recommended to the off-Broadway musical "Ruthless" where she performed in the title role for two years. At the age of 11, she auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989). The second time, she was an emoji-eer, along with other popular stars from today, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (*NSYNC) and Ryan Gosling. Her biggest breakthrough, however, was when she was signed Jive Recording Artist in the latter part of the 90s. The debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Do It Again" released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has an older brother Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was the daughter of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to become a famous. Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) on television when she was just 8. However, she was too young for the part. Britney moved to New York with her mother and baby sibling. She starred in numerous TV commercials and was also the understudy of Natalie Portman in "Ruthless" off-Broadway. Then, two years later her passion for dance and music took over. She was able to audition again to appear on "Mickey Mouse" and was selected along with Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
